Shuttle

  
Our shuttle bus is an 8-person van which transports our guests to and from the hostel. It takes approximately 10 minutes to travel from Amsterdam Holendrecht station to Lucky Lake. The shuttle costs €1 per person, per trip.

From Lucky Lake

The shuttle leaves Lucky Lake every hour, on the hour, to Amsterdam Holendrecht station. The first shuttle is at 08:00. From Amsterdam Holendrecht station, you can take a metro or train into the city. The metro runs approximately every 12 minutes, and takes 17 minutes to travel to Amsterdam Centraal station.

If you need to be in the city at a certain time, it is best to pre-book the shuttle at reception to ensure you have a seat.

From Amsterdam Holendrecht station

Important notice:

Due to work at Amsterdam Holendrecht station we have a new pick up point for our shuttle bus.

Take the south (ZUID) exit and walk down the stairs, turn right and right again. Keep the fence on your left hand side and walk down to the main road. The shuttle will pick you up under the tunnel at the normal scheduled time. If you have any problems finding the pick up point please don’t hesitate to call the shuttle on 0031 630043016 or reception 0031 294 282814.

* Depending on traffic, our shuttle may be a few minutes late.

The metro stops running around 00:15. To take the late shuttle at 01:00 or 01:30, you will need to take a TRAIN from Amsterdam Centraal station from the TRAIN PLATFORM. We provide a late night train schedule to our guests when they check in. Make sure you take the correct train that stops at Amsterdam Holendrecht as this can be tricky! Lucky Lake hostel cannot be held responsible if you take the wrong train and end up in Utrecht! :-)
